The List!!!

It all started this year when I turned 27, I'm officially in my late 20's...and that's when I realized, I'm getting old! It was a sad moment...that is until I thought about my sisters (2 in-laws) and friends who just turned 30 this year. I mean they're thirty, flirty and thriving.... so 30 isn't a death sentence! However there is still a lot I want to do before I turn 30, and thats when the list hit...well actually it hit after my sister in-law, who is amazing, brought up the idea and I just went with it. I mean, I LOVE lists and what better way to eventually celebrate your 30th birthday than looking back on all the crazy things that you did! Some of the things are on the list because I've never done them, some because I like challenges, no matter how difficult, and then some, lets just face it, are just because! So here goes nothing....

1. Toss three coins in the Trevi fountain and make a wish
2. Drink a beer in a cute little pub in Germany
3. Get a tatoo
4. Sleep in a tent out side on the ground
5. See the sunrise on top of a Mountain, and watch the sunset at the beach
6. Run a half marathon
7. Start a blog (about to check this off!)
8. Go Sky Diving (not going to lie, a little terrified! But if my sister can do it, so can I!)
9. Try a vegan diet for at least a week
10. Buy a new car, with cash
11. Take a picture with someone famous
12. Reconnect with an old friend (actually go hangout with them)
13. Read War and Peace by Tolstoy
14. Cut all my hair off in a sassy, trendy style
15. Take voice lessons and sing in front of church/crowd
16. Beat a video game (I seriously have maybe played an hour or two worth of video games in my entire life)
17. Get pregnant, because we always said we would in our late 20's
18. Go dancing
19. Visit a popular vineyard
20. Cook from scratch for an entire week (NO MICROWAVE or mixes!!!)
21. Learn to sew, make a cute dress and actually wear it out!
22. Go a week wireless free (no tv, no phone, no computer)
23. Do a 30/30 remix (pick out 30 items of clothing and make 30 different outfits for 30 days)
24. Watch the best top ten classic movies
25. Graduate College before 2012
26. Finish Harry Potter
27. Reread the Bible cover to cover
28. Spend New Years down town
29. Do a trash the dress photo shoot
30. Throw the most amazing 30th Birthday ever!

  1. I'm not much of a dancer, although I have fun every time I do, and this past year while out with girl friends I missed out on an opportunity to dance and have some fun. I don't want to miss out again...so I left the dancing open to any type and hoping that it will be more of a spontaneous moment and something I don't over analysis before doing!
