Random Rachelness

So, today is a big day...my Penny girl is one!!! Seriously, I'm pretty sure that I love that dog more than I should. I realize that once I have a child she might take a backseat, however let me relish in my crazy love for my fur baby!!! Birthdays have ALWAYS been a big deal in my family and why would Penny's be any different? Don't worry I'm not throwing her a crazy, huge first birthday, although I won't lie and tell you it didn't cross my mind;) We just wanted her to have a super, extraordinary day! It started with breakfast in bed, of course her food bowl is right by her bed and where she eats every day, but it was regular dog food and not puppy food! Then she got a big girl dog bone, which are a LOT bigger than the puppy ones shes has been eating. After her nap we headed to the nail salon, Penny is a huge social butter fly and loves the pet store. She did have one of those moments today, you know when you're allowed to buy something, but there's nothing you really want, she did eventually decide on a bone that looked tasty! Now she's chewing her little heart out! I would say all in all it was a fantasic birthday!

#7

I think I can officially scratch number 7 off the list... I did it, I started my blog!!! I had loved the idea of starting a blog for a long time, not necessarily because I think I'm that interesting, because serioulsy I'm not, but because I wanted to journal happenings in my life. So when I came up with this list I thought it was a great opportunity to blog! I hope to accomplish something on my list monthly so that I have post regularly, but we'll see. Stay tuned because next week I will be scratching something else off the list that is huge!!! I'm so excited about this one because I have been talking about it for, forever! For the rest of my list I will post pictures of me doing it so you can feel like you were right there;) However I thought posting a pic of me typing away on my computer would not be that exciting so I decided against it...your welcome! One down 29 to go!

The List!!!

It all started this year when I turned 27, I'm officially in my late 20's...and that's when I realized, I'm getting old! It was a sad moment...that is until I thought about my sisters (2 in-laws) and friends who just turned 30 this year. I mean they're thirty, flirty and thriving.... so 30 isn't a death sentence! However there is still a lot I want to do before I turn 30, and thats when the list hit...well actually it hit after my sister in-law, who is amazing, brought up the idea and I just went with it. I mean, I LOVE lists and what better way to eventually celebrate your 30th birthday than looking back on all the crazy things that you did! Some of the things are on the list because I've never done them, some because I like challenges, no matter how difficult, and then some, lets just face it, are just because! So here goes nothing....

1. Toss three coins in the Trevi fountain and make a wish
2. Drink a beer in a cute little pub in Germany
3. Get a tatoo
